Sayoria 09/14/17 1:19:13 PM #1:	So I did my homework and feel not even 10% sure of myself. I usually suck with wordy problems. Did I answer this right and if not, can I get an explanation? The whole page in general would be nice to know. I have a learning comprehension and I've tried contacting my instructor for office hours and we can't make schedules work. Here is a screenshot of my homework. I am generally looking for advice on #9 and if I tackled 6-8 wrong, please let me know too. I'm probably way off on some of this. I'll probably be better with the actual numbers. They are looking for a specific relationship but the DV itself is the generalized effect in a relationship/study, not a specific one. And the unit of analysis should probably be more specifically people who have been arrested. For #7 the IV should be the architectural design of the prison and DV just inmate-on-inmate assaults. #8 looks fine. Nominal - the number is only a name or title. It has no relation to the other numbers. Ordinal - rank order like 1-5 scale Interval - similar to ordinal but the distance matters because it is not an arbitrary scale such as temperature Ratio - like interval but there is a clear 0 that means there is none of the variable Income is ratio I think victimization might be nominal...
