I have fought 3 of my tickets, and all 3 times, the officer didn't show up, so I won. I tried to set my trial date as far into the future as I can. That lowers the chances of officers showing up. On the tickets, they showed my last day to go to court. I waited until that day, then go to the court to set up my trial date as far as you can. In the past, my court dates were all at least 3 months after I got the ticket.
