Im not black, im mixed (white with another race) but I have had a black gf before and loved her very much. I have hung around black people my entire life, and honestly have probably had more black friends than white ones. My ex gf didn't care about me saying the word in either iteration, I even called her one to her face (multiple times jokingly) after she called me one (daily actually). So this entire "if you say it with a hard R" youre racist is bullshit, it might be true for some people but not for everyone.
Keep in mind I do use racial slurs for every race/ethnicity, even my own so I have never thought about it as me treating a specific group of people differently, if anything me not being an asshole to that race would be me treating them differently than others. --- Ask me if I would eat da booty. ... I never thought any version of the word was better than others. I don't get this hard R stuff. IMO all it takes is the first 3 letters and it's as bad as any other version. unless you complete it by saying Nigerian or Nigeria. then it's ok
