As a parent even now I won't let my daughter watch certain cartoons because I think they are "not the best option". So while it sucks I kind of get it. However compared to today's standards of cartoon and YT channels these old cartoons were and are pretty mild. The only people who actually get offended by these are SJW and maybe the far-left liberal (which I guess is the same thing). Otherwise I think most rational people would really find little to no issue with these old cartoons. Edit: Far-right religious conservatives might have an issue as well but are far more likely to mange it internally and not make a public stink about it. I agree, and also it seems like these old cartoons were so shallow compared to what kids watch now. Tom and Jerry had almost no story to follow. Jerry tries to cheer him up before the same thing happen to him, a cute mouse lady speeding by in a car with a rich mouse guy.
