Anyway Soraya Saga again retweeted a Nintendo Direct tweet, which says the Direct centers on software scheduled to be released within the year. This along with a couple of other recent updates make it almost guaranteed that XC2 won't be delayed to next year.

System sales are a moving target. The Switch is currently pacing ahead of the 3DS - by the end of June 2011 it had sold 4.32 million behind the Switch's 4.7 million for June 2017.

Also look at what GTAV did after its PS4/Xbox One release, despite the fact that there were and still are fewer of those systems total.
