was crashing in my friend's guest room and he said i could bang girls there but couldn't let them sleep over. she just got kicked out of her parents house after a fight (long story, don't ask) and didn't have anywhere else to go so wandered around town until she met me. she totally understood and left with no problem, but she had no money to get a hotel and ended up sleeping in her car in the heat. i still feel awful for making her do that...

The woman was 32 and got kicked out of her parents' house? How is this not a story to elaborate?

Something is not adding up. The police would side with the daughter in this case.

Police weren't involved. There was shouting and screaming and she was asked to leave so she did.

Doesn't make sense. She has rights over some boyfriend that her mother is dating.

How is that hard to understand? She got into a fight with her mom's bf, the bf yelled at her to leave and she did. No law was involved in any capacity. She could have called the cops, but she didn't. I'm not saying she made the right decision, I'm telling you the facts of what happened (as it was explained to me)

No, the story doesn't make sense. I find it hard to believe that it went down as you described. I'm not saying you're lying, as that is probably exactly what she told you, but it's likely she isn't telling the full truth.

You're a girl. Girls are emotional. If a fight occurred and she felt like she wasn't wanted there or just needed to leave before she did something bad (attacking the guy), she would probably just leave.

I'd have let her sleep over anyways, fuck your friend. If he was that against a girl sleeping over in that situation he's an ass and you need to find somewhere else to live. It would be different if it was all every night thing, but a night here and there shouldn't bother anyone.

I was a guest in his house, saving me thousands in hotel fees for the 2 weeks I stayed with him and he lets me do this whenever...really not burning that bridge

Some people are overly emotional, not just women.

I find it hard to believe that a 32 year old woman didn't have enough sense about her to fight against someone who literally has no rights over her home or her mother and ended up homeless. Doesn't add up.

increased estrogen means increased emotions...guess what most women have way more of than men...

it wasn't her home, she was visiting

What would the cops have done? They can't make her mother or the boyfriend let her back in.

Her mother's boyfriend doesn't have the authority to dismiss someone from a house he either doesn't own or is not renting, which he is likely not either of those things.

Again, my point is that the story doesn't add up that someone would allow themselves to become homeless by their mother's boyfriend asking them to leave.

Parents choose romantic partners over their kids all the time.
