I'm sad that the big Metal Gear Survive announcement yesterday was just a release date and not that they're going to do a battle royale mode.

while AM2R was cool it held pretty close to the original game design while Samus Returns said fuck that and pretty much made an entirely new game just with the same basic premise. I found it to be a lot more challenging too and I liked how it added to the lore teasing chozo infected with the x parasites to be potentially a new villain in an upcoming game (either Prime 4 or maybe another 2D game?)
