It is actually an incredible movie. The only criticisim it gets is that they sex scenes are basically 20-minute long pornos lol. It felt out of place and kind of distracts from the beautiful story.

If you havent seen it, I strongly recommend watching it this weekend. It won the grand prize at the Cannes Film Festival. It is exceptional. A beautiful movie.

To be fair, my opinion is a bit biased as a gay male. There was a lot of stuff I could really relate to. This was my favorite scene. Reminded me of the first time I went to a gay bar. It kind of captures that surreal "is this real life?" feeling you get when you are in that sort of environment for the first time. (FYI, in that scene, she is lieing when she says they are cousins. They have never met before.)

Fucking hate that movie. Should be called "Blue is the Lukewarmest Color"

The protagonist faces no real conflicts except for one scene where some girl acts catty about her being a rug muncher (Paris in the year >2000 is so conservative, after all) and later when she cheats on her girlfriend and gets dumped.

My roomate's lives are filled with more drama than this bitch's. Only redeeming factor is that it occasionally breaks out into softcore porn.
