I would go 1 > 2 > Oath > Origin. 1 and 2 use a different combat system you may not like and playing Origin before them would also spoil the story (if you care). Origin is more polished than Oath and it may be hard to play Oath afterward.

If you are stronger then them you hurt them. not really. depending on how you run into them determines how much damage they take and you take. running into enemies face first makes you take the most damage. --- ... ys7 is the only one i played and i liked it

Yeah, played like 20 minutes of the first one and this isn't what I'm looking for atm. Looking for more strategic to play and this seems pretty brainless

I will say that I played the ys 1 and 2 on my iPhone and the game play fits a touch screen very well.
