I haven't seen it yet, but what gets me is the movie supposedly prides itself on being anti male. They went out of their way to try to piss off half the Ghostbuster fanbase for no reason. and I remember the stars being on like Ellen or Oprah and mocking male fans. it became a political movement. according to them, it was impossible to dislike the new movie unless you were sexist.
and that's why the movie failed. you can't anger all those people and then expect them to buy tickets. so no sequel for you, reboot ghostbuster team... ... Copied to Clipboard!

It was just adlibbing and improv. Not great improv either; actually kind of bad. Didn't really have that subtle humor that made the original ghost busters great.

It definitely wasn't a Ghostbusters movie, the humor was very different. Okay for a random comedy, pretty shitty for a Ghostbusters movie.

They went with slapstick humor for almost everything. That's what made it lame. OG's humor was way better.
