Basketball is about pure physical talent. I'm not 6'6. With acting, I fit the perfect leading man archetype. That was also my college major.

Steph Curry is only 6'3, so that's no excuse. And a hook shot as godly as you claim yours to be would allow you to shoot over much taller defenders with ease

I am incredibly good at the hook shot, but a choice of being a famous actor vs basketball player, I choose actor.

It's tough to succeed at either when you live in the middle of nowhere and practice where no one can judge you. I can dominate in organized leagues all I want but I'm not getting tryouts or offers. I'm also not getting auditions unless I move to LA or NY

I'm almost 30 and acting has a much longer career span at this point. I have maybe 4 good basketball years left but 20 good acting years. Sam Jackson didn't start his career until he was in his 30s

But honestly my hook is so good if you saw it in person you would think it was luck. I make 1/3 3 point hook shots. I shoot at least 500 shots a day when I play, which is 5 days a week at least.

But I'm about the same with acting. I practice all the time and I've done short films and plays in school. I also did improv. That's also why I gotta stay in shape. I haven't given up on my dreams but I might have to move to a big city to get opportunities. I'm all about that skill
