You aren't even allowed to print documents from a system not even on a network at jail. When I went to the law library they literally told me I had to handwrite 15 pages. I even offered to pay for the printing.

Recording and intercepting are not interchangeable terms as "recording" deals with the preservation of a communication while "interception" simply deals with it's acquisition.
