DACA needs to end. It sends the message parents can continue to bring their children here without any repercussions. I may not necessarily be opposed to ones currently on DACA to be grandfathered in, but it has to go or the cycle will inevitably continue because we are reinforcing the behavior that the action is "OK".

Sanctuary cities need to go and deportations need to increase, particularly for criminal aliens other than the crime of entering the U.S. in the first place.

We either have a country or we don't. We either have border integrity or we don't.

So, how does that encourage newer people?

Tons of people were against Obama enacting such a thing. I know that's hard to believe for some people since Obama couldn't do wrong in their eyes, but it's bullshit, should never have happened, and I'm glad Trump finally squashed it.

Having integrity would mean that we would happily welcome poor families from developing and undeveloped countries. Make immigration easier and you can talk about integrity.

It dosnt. You wouldn't be eligible for the program if you arrived before 2012. Average DACA holder age today is 26 and average arrival age into the state's was 6. But hey fuck them, someone needs to be punished.

Who's to say that Hillary wouldn't have extended the deadline to June 2016 or even indefinitely if she had won the election? Either way, you're still missing the point. By normalizing such ill-conceived policies, you are sending a message to others that should never have existed.

Hillary was criticized for arguing in favor of deporting children who fled Central America when she was Sec of State. But glad you're knowledgeable on the issue.

Hillary is not president; the choice isn't between "extending the deadline" and "scrapping the program."

Damn, imagine trusting known flip-floppers to not flip-flop (and she did flip-flop on this issue already).

What a shitty copout after your narrative was destroyed.

My narrative? Where have I personally ever denied that it was limited to arrivals before June 2012?

Flat out refusing "what if" scenarios isn't any way to refute the argument. Maybe we don't know if Hillary would have dealt with the program for sure, but someone would have eventually if not Trump.
