I'm celebrating your birthday by sitting in O'Hare for four hours because I missed my connecting flight due to a mechanical issue on my first flight.

My only recommendation from having been there I guess three times is that the Wolfgang puck pizza place is just average but the Chicago style hot dogs are weird and good

Why's that, chewy? It can't be worse than Washington Dulles, where you have to ride a slow shuttle back to the terminal from your gate when you arrive.

Doesn't O'Hare also have some kind of shuttle? I remember that the last time we were there. I don't know the exact details but we had a connecting flight and I think we tried to get a shuttle but it was ridiculously complicated so we ended up just having to walk really fast through the airport to get to our gate. At DIA they just have an underground train that is really obvious and easy to get to and you don't have to go outside.

It's also just old and ugly and generally unpleasant to be inside of. Feel free to use that quote out of context

Oh maybe O'Hare does. I didn't have to use it today. Dulles has a subway-type train to get to your gate when you arrive, and then the shuttles on the way back.

Seattle-Tacoma was very nice and easy to get around. I don't have much experience with airports but we also ended up jogging through O'Hare for our connecting flight so if there's a shuttle there we didn't see it.

The Cubs and Brewers are going to extras for the third straight game. Unfortunately, this time it was the Cubs blowing it in the ninth, but maybe they can win it in 10 again
