Even as a kid, not to be insulting, I thought it was fake and lame. It never caught on for me, and i'm surprised it has such an adult following.

I started really watching around 2014. Got real tired of it after a year or so. The five hours a week was way too much for me, and the stories were already repeating pretty heavily. I tried again after the RAW/Smackdown brand split because I thought it was the perfect thing to refresh the brand, and it got better for a bit, but it started falling into the same patterns.

They shelve all the good gimmicks (like Bad News Barrett), over play the enjoyable gimmicks (like the New Day), keep using the same foreign wrestling heel that they've been relying on since their television debut (Cena vs Rusev was literally just the plot of Rocky IV strung over five or six months), they keep burying good talent in the B-list (like Ambrose), they use Brock Lesnar (who is the least charismatic wrestler I've ever seen, and literally has less moves than Roman Reigns) and they keep pushing wrestlers that clearly no one wants because ... I don't know. Maybe they hate their fans. I don't get it.

The sad part is that I actually feel really bad for Reigns. Guy doesn't have a lot of moves but he fit his role during The Shield. He gets pushed hard, which pisses off fans who would rather see Ambrose, or Rollins (though he sort of is perma-shoehorned as a cowardly villain, if you ask me), which is not entirely his fault. If anything, it's management being blindly devoted to the idea that every single front man has to be made in the Hulk Hogan, Olympic body builder type.

God, no. Last time I watched it regularly was 2005 but I did like seeing Undertaker lose and Bryan win the title. That was the last mania i watched.

I basically watched it from start to stop of the attitude era, 1997 ish to 2002. So basically when wrestling was good.

Got super lame after that. Rock left shortly after that. Austin was gone. I think WCW and ECW eventually merged in but I dont think they did a good job of merging tbqh, thats what lost my interest.

But when I did watch it, I was a die-hard fan. Had wrestling shirts, gear, watched every single raw, smack down, and even sunday night heat. Do they still have heat?

If you guys are real fans, you should go back and watch the old royal rumbles, those were special.

When football comes back, then I won't watch it. I watch the PPV's on my phone or tablet during the season.

I'll catch the occasional PPV, but the booking is so bad I don't stick around. A shame since the roster talent is best they've ever had.
