and the brake light itself is on, too. that means it thinks my parking brake is on when...it's not.
i can count on one hand the amount of times i've used that brake. this means there's clearly something wrong with my brakes, even though it brakes just fine. i really need to get a new truck. --- depressed again morning comes too fast and i'm tired of the routine ... Copied to Clipboard!

you tried fucking with that parking break to see if you can trick that censor back? like, pull and hold the release, and try to lift the pedal with your hand? worked on one of my old work trucks.

the manual said the brake like itself being on, when the brake isn't set, means there might be low brake fluid
brake fluid was just under the max fill line, so it's not that. the brakes all work fine though, so i don't know. it could just be a faulty sensor. i'll probably try disconnecting the battery and see if the light comes back next. --- depressed again morning comes too fast and i'm tired of the routine ...
