My Samsung Galaxy S5 Active seems to be on its last legs in terms of battery health. The phone is at least 2 years old so I figure that is to be expected.

So I was just going to buy a new battery but all of them are way cheaper than I thought they would be and it seems like none of them are official. I'd don't mind paying up for something that I know will work, especially for a device I use all day every day.

Like any battery? What brand did you go with? A lot of the products seem to have an inverse bell curve with 5's and 1's being the highest votes.

I went with PowerBear, which isn't on there anymore. It looks like Samsung has a reasonable priced battery on there though (at least for the Note 4). I switched back to an iPhone after that phone drove me nuts.

Just get a new phone. I always like the 2 year mark, you get to upgrade for free/very little.
