Why should people who own real estate in Texas get a handout from the government? It's your land and property, pay for the damages yourself. or does the Republican mantra not apply here?
Four years ago in 2013: Texas senators Cruz and John Cornyn were among 36 Republicans who voted against a January 2013 supplemental disaster aid bill to help devastated communities in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Now lets see if Cruz and Cornyn will vote against the disaster recovery bill. Government aid is necessary because some people do need it. Today, Texas needs it.
