Maybe I'm young and that's why I disagree with everyone's take on this issue. I don't think I should tell my kid what he should watch and what he shouldn't. If How young are you? Age 4, 5? --- http://i.imgur.com/1yl1fH0.jpg the White-Sounding Black Chick ... Copied to Clipboard!

Maybe I'm young and that's why I disagree with everyone's take on this issue. I don't think I should tell my kid what he should watch and what he shouldn't. If they're learning nasty words from there without realizing, I would just tell them don't say those words (or any other stupid/bad habit they learn after watching a video), instead of just limiting what they can see, because I feel like if I try to control that, they'll just do further desperate things like going at a friend's house to watch or something like that. It is because you're young that you're missing the point, bad words are whatever, that's gonna happen. This is unnecessary gore, violence and sexualized context slapped on to kids shows for no reason other than the creators are fucking weirdo sadists and they know that YouTube will link kids to these videos as long as they have 1 or 2 keywords in them. Again. I saw a thumbnail of a dog from paw patrol pissing into a trough and another girl dog from the show drinking it. Why should I let my child "experience" that? --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah I can definitely agree that I could be missing the point, there are tons of things which you realize only when you grow up, because even your title suggests 'I never thought I'd be one of those parents' because that's exactly how I feel right now, haha

Like if my son hears bad words he knows they are bad. He will literally tell me to not curse in front of him and he's only 2 and a half.
I put it like this: if it's too weird for me, it's too weird. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't think any parent wants there young children watching that. Though I got him these cute Zombie erasers, and he loves them. Now when my wife is on plants vs zombies, he roots for the zombies! ... Copied to Clipboard!
