From past jobs.
Like 5 years ago I was working at a supermarket, near the end they had me in the gas station.
I'd get a job in 2013 doing data entry doing background checks.
Then in 2016 I got a job at an insurance company processing endorsements/renewals and such and now can live on my own, and hope I work at this job for the long haul.

This other guy who also worked at the supermarket and the gas station, would end up working at a wawa (convenience store) and now I see he left that job and is working at a gas station.

I only have a high school diploma, he went to college and has a degree I believe.

To me its fine to compare against or feel happy you made it farther than someone who started similarly, but you shouldn't "judge" the other person. Meaning; be happy for your success but don't disparage the other person for your relative success. Everyone is different and life throws everyone different levels of bullshit that you will never know about. Just my 2 cents.

For a lot of people, this is the thief of life enjoyment. They just get bitter and resentful that others have better jobs, more money, sexier women etc.

Just focus on enjoying your own life and acheiving your own goals.
