People on social media continuously show off the good life they live. How they constantly party, hang around with friends, post pictures. If they are in a relationship, constantly show it off, telling people how good it is or showing off their time doing vacations and what not. Traveling, etc

So why do people in 2017 still try to make it seem like this is fake? Are these people not having great good lives? If their lives weren't so great and perfect, they wouldn't have anything to post in the first place.

came across a similar situation this summer at the beach. saw some dude come in. set up his beach mat etc. cracked open a beer. took a selfie with it then packed his shit up and left.

all within probably 10 mins. pretty fucked up that we got people feeling they got to do shit like that to show their living the life

You know that guy in College who constantly boasted about how much poon he gets? Well just think about it like that on Social Media. It's usually a lot less than people constantly boast about.

Some people live fulfilling and happy lives? Sometimes this is because of priviledge and sometimes it's because of hard work. People rarely show their insecurities, failures, and problems on social media though. It's a stage for presenting what you want to the world, and people use it in different ways.

There's not a lot of point in posting the mundane things going on in your life.

How exciting!

No one cares about that and won't get likes, so no one posts that kind of shit and focuses on exciting things that will get likes.
