Whenever it's brought up, it's always shown in this intensely negative light, when the religion itself (if you want to call it that; it's honestly more of a philosophy) makes a lot of sense.

So why is it still acceptable to treat it like it's some religion of freaks, when in fact it's a really down to earth belief system?
