I opened the door to step outside, and suddenly saw something quickly run away from my door, startled by it being open. Then it stopped a few feet away and turned towards me. It was a tiny cat, and it started walking back towards me. Normally cats hate me (and believe me, the feeling is mutual), but this one was really friendly.

Here's my masculine hand, giving pets and scratches! I'm deathly allergic to cats, but I always try to pet them... I do a lot of dumb things...

She had a collar, and on it was the name Heather, so she definitely wasn't a stray. There was a phone number on her collar, but it was 10:00 PM at night, and I was worried I might end up waking up her owners or making them angry. I figured she was probably an outdoor cat anyway. But now I'm actually kind of worried... What if she had gotten out and ran away or something? What if her owners were worried about her? I'm going to feel like crap if it turns out she was lost or something and I had a chance to get her home. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but now I'm actually kinda worried. I hope Heather is okay...

Oh! And when I walked down the stairs, she followed after. ^_^ It was so cute. Such an adorable, tiny cat. Normally, my hate for cats is pretty strong, but sometimes, on occasion, when a rare event like this occurs, I can't help myself.
