I imagine it would still enhance their performance. I don't see any reason why their framerate wouldn't get a boost unless the code specifically caps it. I'd assume just faster loading times and a more stable framerate, similar to playing 360 games on the xbox one

There are 3 categories of XBox One X you have: 4K UHD (supports 4k resolution, some native, some checkerboard which isn't really a real thing but w/e) HDR (Supports HDR TVs) XBone One X Enhanced (means developer coded special support for X1X) --- ... I guess that would help a lot in GTA V so the game doesn't hover at 15 fps when there's combat in the city.
Still surprised it doesn't have the upgrade. Also waiting on word for Dark Souls 3.
