I really really liked Xenosaga I and was riding that hype wave up until the sequel and about six hours in I realized I hated everything about it and was just forcing my way through for the story. The combat system is needlessly obtuse, having to get all your items and supplies through awful side quests is boring to the point of the frustration and yoooo fuck off with those awful character models and animations. Great music, though and some of the fight scenes were great.
