Antifa wants to be a civilian secret police force.

Neo Nazis, who haven't ever had real power, and are less likely to gain real power in the future than I am to develop superpowers due to radiation exposure in the next 20 minutes, are being touted as the new bogeyman, as though the Fourth Reich is right around the corner.

Antifa is being glorified for combating neo nazis. They've already shown, however, that they're perfectly willing to label anyone they disagree with as nazis, which then in their minds justifies violent attacks against them.

They have convinced themselves fully that they are an unquestionably good, righteous force. To question that also makes you a Nazi. There is no critical thinking involved in this belief. It is simply "But how could I possibly be wrong? I simply cannot be wrong!", fueled entirely by ego.

They are an authoritarians wet dream. They are useful idiots just waiting for someone to rally them into something worse. And it won't be the first time in this little thing called 'history' that people wholly convinced that they'll be on the right side of history will be fed the appropriate buzz words du jour, get told that 'the other side' is the antithesis of all that is good, and completely willingly usher in something far worse, like lemmings pouring over a cliff.
