Just asking because I was told the movie is feminist drivel so curious. Also why is her armor plate boob shaped? That's... I don't even know where to start

Also, flat armor would probably be immensely uncomfortable because it isn't anatomically correct. The point of armor is to protect, if you hit her on the inside of he boobs the armor would deflect the blow to the center of her chest. --- I was a God, Valeria. She needs to have a wide uniboob plate. It doesn't uncomfortably flatten her boobs, but also it protects by providing a better impact force dispersion.

Because she looks good and it's a movie. Hence the justice league trailer featuring a gratuitous upskirt ass shot.
And beyond having a female super hero nothing about the movie is inherently feminist. She's not a Mary Sue, she makes mistakes and learns from the people around her, who for most of the movie are men. --- If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all ... Feminism is about choice and empowering women to be what they want to be. WonderWoman chooses to be a badass superhero while also dressing as a Playboy girl. Nothing about feminism says she can't.

I like how people winge about how "unrealistic" Wonder Woman dressed because her chest is defined and wears a skirt Kind of hilarious, honestly, looking at that pic totally makes sense from a historical perspective. 1. You need a helmet because hits to the head are by far the most devestating, it also is a protusion from the body and "above" everything else making it a particularly likely spot to hit in close combat. 2. You need to cover the gut. Gut wounds cause massive infections that get you killed days later. No need to kill someone outright if you can make them drain food and resources while not fighting and dying days later. 3. Shins solid place to protect. Most mobile place of leg, and breaking a leg also takes a solider out of a fight. Pretty much everything else at that point is a hindrance. You can't just put armor on people, they have to actually carry that shit, and having exhausted soldiers because they're wearing too much armor is worse than having not really vulnerable parts exposed and non exhausted armors. It doesn't really have anything to do with ease of movement but rather still having enough energy left after a march to move at all. But also there isn't much need to armor up someone who is already impervious to most mortal weaponry. You don't armor up Wonder Woman for the same reason you don't armor up Superman. --- ... They designed her took cool, because it's a movie and the fights aren't real. Obviously irl she would not wear armor that deflects blows directly in the middle of her chest. The part of the armor that needs to fit comfortably against her boobs is on the inside. The outside does not have to be shaped like that.

If so it was magical armor made for a human Amazonian warrior to act as their champion. Wonder women was made by a god, and doesn't really need it, but may wear it out of heritage. Do you really think a woman in armor would have flat armor that doesn't adjust for their breasts? Yes. A women, on the off-chance they were suiting up for war which almost never happened, would bind their breasts down with wrapping. Then they would put on their gambeson and mail, and on the extremely unlikely case they had plate armor, they would strap it on top of those and it would look identical to a male. --- // BEAUTY IS NOT LOVE - LOVE IS NOT MUSIC - MUSIC IS THE BEST - WISDOM IS THE DOMAIN OF THE WIZ--WHICH IS EXTINCT // http://www.last.fm/user/Pogo92 ...
