Season 4 started dire as fuck but by the end of it, it became amusing in how fucking silly it was, and I kinda liked twirling mustache evil Damien Dhark or whatever the shit his name was

Season 5 was actually pretty good, not Season 2 good, but way better than the "ranges from numbingly boring to trainwreck" Season 3 or the "dumb but kinda amusing when everyone isn't bending over to praise and ask where a certain character is" Season 4

Season 4 was such a shit show remember that magic ring Dark swallowed and spit up or Thea reflecting his dark magic? Neither did the writers. How many different stories do you think they went through before just giving up and letting season 5 save the series?

Season 4 had so many dropped plots, moments of absolute batshit stupidity to move the plot forward, and just plain awfulness

that was apparently because of how she was brought back using the pit and when they pulled that drug out of nowhere to remove the bloodlust she no longer has pit juice through her veins so to speak

it's sloppy coverups like that in S4 that made me enjoy laughing at it

4 was terrible, 5 was definitely better
