She wore a raspberry beret, but most don't know where you'd find it. That's what Maryland Second-Hand Store owner and Korean immigrant Han Saram learned this past weekend. "I've always loved "Prince". And it was always my dream to open a business in America." Saram says he put up a raspberry-colored beret for sale as a gag. On a shelf underneath it he displayed several pre-owned Prince CDs. He expected somebody to acknowledge it. "Nobody seems to notice it or care. People have called it a red hat, a french hat, and "that hat Cammy wore in Street Fighter", but not a Raspberry Beret." Somebody did eventually buy it. And thats when this story took a bizarre turn. "The day after I sold it," Saram says, "a young couple came in and saw my Prince display. Then the guy asks me as a joke, "hey, if you're a second-hand store, do you sell any raspberry berets?" I flipped out and threw something at him. Didnt even see what it was. It felt kind of soft and wet. And the couple ran out." He has since replaced the display with a cardboard cutout of Sylvester Stallone dressed as a Terminator. Saram also learned that nobody knows what "Last Action Hero" was. --- Truth is Relative ...
