A new study by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) has found that white supremacists have been using genetic testing kits in an effort to prove that they have so-called “racial purity.”

But they’re often disappointed to learn that they aren’t, in fact, fully white.

The sociologists studied more than 3,000 posts on the forum over a decade that discussed genetic testing, and found that many supremacists were shocked to learn they had African or Middle Eastern heritage. The results were revealed at an American Sociological Association meeting in Montreal this week.

Why is it even such a big deal lol... If you can't even tell that you aren't fully white without a DNA test does it really matter? These people's beliefs are something else...

with members of white supremacy groups not being fully white, I suggest that the organizations diversify their ranks, so that well-established connections can be maintained

I'd love to see the reactions. These people have built their lives around their race, or the purity of their race, only to find out they're not so pure after all.

You'd think it would make them question their ideology, but I bet they just go, "eh, I'm white that's all that matters".
