attack Micolash till you run out of stamina, knock him down with Beast Roar, your stamina will regenerate before he gets back up. repeat till death.

alternately... you can actually dodge A Call Beyond VERY reliably if you stand a few meters away from the user and then dodge INTO it at the moment when the projectiles fire. your iframes will carry you through the projectiles and they are very likely to arc over your head and strike the ground behind you anyway due to the tracking. when your dodge ends you'll be standing in front of the caster and they are usually still in their cooldown period before they can even dodge or move again.

I just chumped out and used the Loch shield as a backup, didnt use it that much but still
most of his fight is fine, even if he likes to corner himself and spam Augur to make sure I cant even get close reliably (and he carries a mean right hook)

but Call of Beyond is indeed nuts
potentially more dangerous than Watchdog's charge attack

dodging into him worked a few times, I knew that
but the fight was just too hectic for me to get a proper footing a lot of times, he started casting the spell usually while I was mid movement

still I hear he was patched from earlier versions where he was basically useless at close range

press dodge at the moment you land. you'll immediately roll into iframes and you recover more quickly than if you let yourself fall naturally.

Unless you're going for a Bloodtinge build, it's not a priority. But of course use any surplus materials you no longer need for your main weapon(s).

If your Bloodtinge is low use the repeating pistol and Max upgrade it. You'll get good enough damage to finish off bosses from safety.

Alternately use Hunter Pistol. Leaves more bullets available for parrying if you plan to use you gun for that.
