really? black mirror strikes pretty far down that list for me. as does westworld

dont get me wrong, i def still like those two shows

I like dark shows that keep me on the edge of my seat so that's why Black Mirror is my fav. I found Westworld kind of boring, I just meant I wouldn't lump it or Black Mirror with the others, cuz aside from those two most of the remaining options share a lot of similar traits or themes.

It was the most emotional for me. Seen in three times. Now on my fourth viewing using PSVR (hulu).

MST3k seems to be missing.

the only ones of those that I've actually seen are Firefly and Black Mirror, and... idk. Black Mirror started off awesome but got worse as the show progressed, whereas Firefly was pretty strong all the way through

I never understood why so many people liked Firefly. It was very underwhelming when I saw it. I expected something much more epic based on the praise, but instead got a bunch of lame self-contained stories with very little story arch. I absolutely HATED the prostitute character. So disgusting.

The movie was the best.

I can't comment or vote. I've never seen any of these.

i went in to firefly with extraordinarily high expectations based off word of mouth. my experiences were more than met, the show was just frankly incredible imo

regardless, i didnt vote for firefly (b5)

It was hard to choose between Stargate SG-1 and Farscape. Farscape won in the end because I liked the alien cast more

yeah im honestly REALLY surprised it's not getting as many votes

there isnt one single season of SG-1 that is as storng as BSG season 1 or Fireflys only season..but it was a strong show from seasons 3-7. and those seasons were LONG . like 25 episodes 45 mins each

Out of those? SG1 is probably the longest running and most consistent in quality (at least of the ones I've seen).

Sad DS9 is not on there. That is probably the greatest Sci-Fi show, or at least in the running.

i think it undeniably has the best story of them all, the graphics have NOT aged well though so it is harder for people to get into

Shocked that Firefly, my choice, is number one. I'm always with the minority in threads like this.

a mix of both. overall focuses on an overarching story. keep in mind the first season is really...really weak. there are some episodes that recommended to skip even on first watch through. most of htose episodes are not played in syndication

i almost put the expanse up there, but i havent finished it yet. i think it's def above average

expanse is good once you got past the first few episodes...but give a few more seasons to be able to compare to the other shows listed

It's so good. I adore the realistic depiction of space travel and combat.

When the third book gets adapted, if done right, it's going to be amazing.

However, the fourth book is going to get the show canceled, if it makes it that far. It's not bad by any means, but it kicks off the next ark very, very slowly. It works in book form, but it won't translate well to TV.
