I'm trying to put it on a video I can monetize

I've seen loads of monetized videos with video game music. AVGN for one example

regular ass music, not so much. it CAN be on youtube but its probably not monetized if its not official, ya know?

I believe these are all royalty free tracks. The people who made that game got the music from someone else.

You need to just use small excerpts from copywrited material. If you plan on monetising your channel at least. Otherwise Jim Sterling's copywrite deadlock will help you out.
