Do your worst. Harsh criticism would be great, so long as it's constructive. I only recently joined too, so it's not like I have a huge personal attachment to the product itself.

just looked at a few off the front page and honestly the whole idea of sticking random meme images on them is amazingly awful. But it's kinda what you're going for so I guess if I don't like it it's less that it should be removed and more that I'm not the target audience

would be nice if the video player supported things like space to pause, arrow keys to skip forward/backward a little

Yeah, the branding needs a ton of work. While I get what the CEO was going for with the meme image, it should really take a backseat to the video editor and community they're building.

They're doing a major update to the player and editor that'll launch in a few weeks, so they've asked me to hold back on changes to be made to it for now. I'm mostly just tying the biz dev side to the marketing.
