I subscribe to quitteeee a few nsfw subreddits, and I don't think I'm being hyperbolic when I say 95% of the posts are white people (I subscribe to both male and female and other reddits). In fact, unless the subreddit is specifically about a certain race, it's uncommon enough that when there is one, their race mentioned in the title.

More anecdotally, 75% of the people who have sent me nudes are white.

So are white people just more likely to send them? Or do I just subscribe to white-slanting reddits? What's your experience? Have you ever sent nudes? Are you white?

White people make up 63% of the population, so you'd expect around that number of nude Americans (the primary demographic of Reddit) to be white. Combine that with people tending to find their own race the most attractive plus society elevating white beauty over minorities in media and it's not surprising that white posters get voted to the top of the NSFW subs more often.

This definitely makes sense for top posts, but even when I browse through new or rising, it's still mostly white. Do you think minorities take the same amount of nudes but post them less because they don't think they'd get as many upvotes?

A lot of the time the poster isn't actually the person in the picture, either. So I guess if you're trying to get karma, it makes sense to post someone that will get more upvotes.
