So I recorded a video on my phone, connected it to my laptop to put the video on my computer. I Ctrl + X'd the video, and accidentally pasted it in that space before the root of the phone. Like This PC > [Phone Name] > Phone (root), I pasted it in Phone Name.

I hit cancel before it started to transfer because that's not where I wanted to put the video, and it canceled. But now, the video is completely gone from both my phone and my laptop.

What happened to it?

If the object is no longer in its original location, Windows will not be able to paste it anywhere.
