Playing the others just seems kind of boring.
Is it more interesting to do culture/diplomacy/science on higher difficulty? It may just be the bad AI making it too easy. --- <insert sig here> ... Copied to Clipboard!

I like diplomatic but that usually just ends up with me killing most people anyway
cultural is impossible/takes forever without going to war if you have any strong tourism competition --- I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen... ... Copied to Clipboard!

I like diplomatic but that usually just ends up with me killing most people anyway The longest victory I had was diplomatic since the whole world seemed to hate me for razing a couple cities. Had to have all the city state votes +2 extra from almost winning to win out. But only one civ ever attacked me since I just built a huge army nobody wanted to deal with. I think at Prince difficulty the "build a huge army and nobody will try to touch you + you can easily race ahead in culture/science/economy if you focus on one" strategy is just too easy. I'll probably crank up the difficulty next game and see how it is. --- <insert sig here> ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's the most fun when it works out. It can be quite difficult to pull off though Yeah, I think it's just Prince difficulty being training wheels. Domination was also an easy win for me. Just spammed units until I took the first continent (4 civs I think), then put all my investment into science until I built up enough for an invasion on the next continent. On Prince, the AI will never preemptively declare war if you're gathering a huge force outside their borders. I'll just say I'm moving my units then move in 4 or 5 siege units in a couple turns. The AI could have turned a lot of situations on me in they just took the initiative instead of letting me start the war on my terms. Use that science investment to get bombers + aircraft carriers and bam, easy win. I got so much uncontested development on my first continent that I was getting science and money like crazy from it. --- <insert sig here> ... Copied to Clipboard!
