S8+ has a much higher resolution screen which looks great, but the battery it comes with is pitiful for a screen that size and quality. Contrast the OP5 which has a slightly smaller battery, but a much lower-res screen as well. (Not to the point of looking bad - FHD looks good at 5.5") Plus, the OP5 doesn't have that awkward wraparound screen bullshit that makes the phone awkward for some to handle. S8+ has a microSD slot, OP5 doesn't. So that's a win for Samsung no matter what. S8+ has 6GB RAM while the OP5 has an 8GB option. Unless you run a million things at once, it shouldn't matter too much here. OP5 is fairly close to stock Android while Samsung continues trying to reinvent their in-home ROM with each new device, and it manages to be shit every single time compared to stock. Between the two I'd probably go OP5, but this is coming from someone who would never consider getting either one regardless. --- This is LinksLiege's signature.
