Gluten Free bread was always marked as such because that's an item that people actually needed to know before they purchased it. Um, we don't have foods marked with gluten-free if there really was none from start as far as I know. Maybe that's an American thing.

The biggest change comes from restaurants having gluten-free alternatives for stuff like pizza, but that heavily depends on the people preparing the pizza who know what they're doing as small amounts of gluten can still provoke heavy autoimmune responses. --- ...
