This happened February this year.

I am a stagehand, and I was running the lighting booth, when I came down with a terrible cold. I HAD to do it though, as no one else knew the patterns and stuff. I struggled through the rehearsal, and went home.

I took 2... I actually can't remember what company it was. Then I came back to the school.

I felt really.. lucky? If that makes sense, like nothing could go wrong. Before the play, I was jumping around and stuff. I was hyped as hell. I stood on a prop, a wooden box and jumped. It was old and not intended to be stood on, so it broke. They fixed it, but still. That could've been terrible.

I get through the play, making no mistakes. It was great. Afterwards, me and my friends decide to hang out. We went to the park. I was jumping around and stuff, I felt like I could fly.

Then it started raining, and I could hardly even feel it, despite wearing a t-shirt and jeans. They decided to go to Subway. I wasn't hungry, so I just sat there. I was laughing about everything.

Then, we were going to go our separate ways, when this girl, April, asked if we needed a ride from her mom. I took it.

THANK god I did, because I could've seriously hurt myself.
