I talked to many minorities about it and only those born in North America seem to be offended by cultural appropriation. People from other countries like Africa or Japan love sharing their cultures. I don't get why some people from the left encourage conservative racial segregation. As someone with actual liberal views, I believe culture should be shared. People born in Japan that were not adopted at a young age love sharing their cultures and even have a government branch about promoting it across the world. Black african love it when you should interest in their cultures and where they are from. Canadians love sharing their poutine and won't cry cultural appropriation if you wear a lumberjack shirt. so is outrage about "cultural appropriation" an american culture thing?
