Alright, so the previous topic was lost, and all the rules are gone. General information: every generation of Pokemon starts with the first ten in the Pokedex. Five advance. Then a new five face those five, and so on and so forth. This goes until we reach the end of a generation, at which point each round becomes single elimination until we determine a generation winner. At the moment, Jolteon, Feraligatr, and Flygon have won generations and will be involved in the grand finals alongside the winners of Gen IV, V, VI, VII, and the three Pokemon with the longest winning streaks to give us a final ten.

In the event of a tiebreaker, I'll hold a one-off topic to break said tie. Those rounds (same as these poll topics) last 24 hours to determine winners and whatnot. For purposes of this contest, no alts and no rallying.

Also, feel free to discuss opinions and predictions and whatnot.

A tiebreaker in the penultimate round led to an utter blowout and it seems like Gliscor managed to put on a stronger showing this time around to make himself look like a contender to Lucario. Only two remain, and one will be the Gen IV champion, so get to voting!

Could anyone verify the end results for me? I last checked around 5:18 and it was 29-23. Obviously Gliscor has gotten a bunch of votes since then, but I can't be sure how many were before the deadline.

What you should've done was not make a poll. You know some people are gonna alt vote. If you had made it so that users had to post who they wanted to win instead of having them cast a vote in an actual poll, there wouldn't be a problem. Instead, we're now left with this controversy on which Pokemon won.

I say disqualify both of these two and make Shaymin the winner, but that's probably asking for too much, lol.

Here's what I'm gonna do. Because I can't be sure who actually won within the time frame, I'm gonna re-run this round, but as a straight-up "cast your vote in the topic" topic. I don't want to fuck over either side with my decision as it is, so I'll let the voters voice their opinion. That sounds fairest.

Honestly, this is how it should've been when this series started. You can't really rely on an actual poll when you know people will votestuff. Having users post who their vote goes to is the best way to do this in my opinion. You get more legitimate results this way and you won't have to rely on someone screencapping the poll results just to figure out who wins.

Of course, you're free to do whatever you want to do with this series as you're the owner of it. No one's forcing you to make changes, but it's still a suggestion worth considering.
