Now this: http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/877243-alfre-woodard-to-play-simbas-mother-in-live-action-lion-king So Rafiki and Simba's mother are also black as well. So this definitely can't be a coincidence anymore. My problem is more that I fear it'll just hear Seth Rogen's voice rather than being engrossed and feeling like I'm hearing a good version of Pumba. If that makes sense. If it makes you feel any better that's the same exact feeling your parents had the 1st time they took you to go see the original movie.
