He was quoting wholesale ordered copies which is highly misleading because wholesale orders aren't sales, and typically when it comes to books whatever doesn't sell is sent back to the publisher. Also, there were those videos of people going to Barnes and Noble and other book stores and finding that were sold out. Then when they try to request an order of the book, the clerk tells them the system physically wouldn't let them order more copies and that they'd never seen that happen before. The implication of the videos seem to be that some at B&N objects to the book and it's author and is trying to hurt sales by making it more difficult to buy a copy.
