Watch Lilo and Stitch. Just because you lack empathy doesn't mean you HAVE to be a bad person. But you should really watch that movie though. He was created to destroy everything he touches but turned out to be good. He's an alien that didn't fit in with humans but learned to.

Nothing wrong with that. Most people feign concern to virtue signal, but they forget about it as soon as it doesn't matter to them anymore.

I'm definitely NOT a psychopath since I feel fear and shame though. I think it's wrong to hurt people.

That's too general to really judge anything off of. A general concern won't evoke much emotion but you'll care if a friend got stabbed or if a stranger presents some hardships.
