I love going to Costco for lunch. They have a hot dog deal with a soda for like three bucks it's amazing.

you can go to the food court with a membership...its just cash only..just walk into the exit and let the receipt checker know you're just getting food.

Also you don't need it for alcohol, and the $12 Kirkland vodka handles are absolutely incredible for the quality (It's basically grey goose)

$1.50 hotdog and soda.

What you do, you figure out what time they come out with all those free samples and you go then. Walk around and get your appetizers and then get that hot dog and soda or that pizza for your entree.

It IS Grey Goose.

My boss at my old job showed up with some pizza from there one day. Never actually been to a Costco, I assumed I'd be forcibly removed from the premises without a membership. That's good to know though, and cheap good alcohol is always a plus too. I really only buy groceries and stuff once a month, so debating if I would get my money's worth from the yearly membership.

If you're really worried about it, some costco's have their food court outside of the store at least that's how it is for the ones around me. Just go up buy my cheap hotdogs and pizzas and it's great

the 12 dollar ones are not (although they're still solid)

it's the 20 dollar 'french vodka' ones that are made in the old grey goose factory

negative--it's made in the former grey goose factory, which kirkland purchased along with much of the equipment

tastes identical, but it's not like their rum/bourbon/etc which is purchased from manufacturers and relabeled. they have a more vertical industry for their french vodka than that.

its from a post prohibition era law regarding exvlusive clubs that sell alcohol or something

the law is kinda obscure and a lot of door checkers probably don't even know it but just probably ask for the manager or something if they deny you at first

it's a job not really that bad. wish they would remove the chili no one buys it. should put something others would want.

i usually get the pizza and soda or a chicken bake and soda (soda only 59 cents) would be better if they had dr pepper.

I don't know why anyone would put down working at Costco.... you do realize how much they pay right?

Up here in Canada its 16 starting out, going all the way up to 24 dollars an hour, twice what the minimum wage cap is. Unless you have a degree in something you won't be getting much better in an entry position, even with a degree your not guaranteed a good job, or even a job in this economy.
