Escalating standards are just a convenient excuse to justify why they can't get a woman in the first place. You don't lose out on sexual partners when you perform mental gymnastics to justify why you're too good to initiate anything at all.

even as men age into their like 70s they still prefer hot attractive 20 year olds in terms of what they consider attractive. But those same men settle for what they can get because that's just what you gotta do. Saying it's just a CEmen thing is super naive.

There's a difference between being judgmental of pictures of women online vs. real life. I'll have higher 'online standards' only because I'm not going to fawn over a women that a)I'll never meet IRL and b)is one of basically infinite hot women I can see pictures of. If you're going to go out of your way to post a picture of a female online solely to say how attractive she is, she better be extraordinarily attractive or remarkable in some other way. If anything, its just as pathetic to see posts online of people who seemingly fall in love/lust with every slightly pretty face they come across in media (OMG this actress, musician, youtuber, streamer etc... is the hottest person ever to grace the planet earth!).

In real life, standards are much more reasonable (honestly, if you look at the data, the average guy finds the average woman more attractive than the average woman finds the average man). There are overly high expectations from lonely neckbeards, sure but its overblown.

Oh sorry if she has a nose a bit larger than a girl usually does. Like there are really attractive women that you have no reason to go and take apart and be so rude to honestly. Men are already creating such body image issues for women and you're only helping make more.
