So, we are free to make any choice we want. We can even choose to do horrible things like rape or kill or vote for Donald Trump to be the President. So in addition to being a biological predisposition, any of us could choose to be gay.

Or is that untrue? Could we only engage in gay acts and being gay is more than that?

But, if that's true, why can't someone identify as being gay if someone can identify as a gender other than their biological gender?

Every action is a choice but feelings and biological desires are not explicitly controlled by choice.

I have depression, I do choose to exist as a depressed person but I cannot simply choose to be not depressed.

The confusion is a flaw of the english language rather than any real confusion by intelligent people.

gay sexual urges are not a choice...

i mean it could be argued that there is a tiny bit of mitigation over those desires people have, but if you look at the scientific facts sexual orientation is almost impossible to change. People that argue that it's simply a choice are grasping at some serious straws.

Both. Some dudes naturally like guys like how guys like women while others are so super horny they'd try new experiences so they're actually bi sexual which is the same to me as gay when they hook up with other dudes. And then there are others who are forced to be gay and 99% of these type of gay dudes are/were in prison. Watched a documentary about some dude and he was a hardcore ass thug who loved women then became effeminate gay dude who wore the skirt in the relationship after years of getting sexually assaulted by other dudes.

Well i'm a bit bisexual. I could probably make the transformation over the fence if i tried hard enough. I don't think it works that easy for everyone though...especially if you are trying to rid yourself of UNWANTED sexuality, like for example me going completely straight. I don't know how I would approach that. Funny how that works huh.
