All veterans I know say they and their buddies don't give a shit about trans people in the military. They know anyone can be an asset or a hindrance to their mission and they don't care what their background is.

I will say that this one veteran that I have taken part in hosting a 22 pushup challenge for veteran suicide with also believes this. Needless to say that my liberal side came out on him. (In a less-angry way)

I told him that we still have pride for the country that gives us more than most other countries give us. That we as Americans want to protect our friends and family just like any other and that if we are that passionate about it, we could fight in the time of need without putting our gender in control.

He's surfacing as a strong republican and this sucks because he's saying things I wouldn't figure him to be saying, especially knowing that these people have the same intent to protect the country, but he rather backstab them like that.

I almost want to remove him before things eventually get heated down the line.
