My old laptop is approaching a decade old and struggles with so much as an internet browser. I don't really want to drop the money on another one, since my PC does all the heavy lifting for me already.

Could probably just stick with my phone, but its a bit small for reading and watching stuff for long periods.

I have a $100 Samsung, and it's faster than my galaxy S6. It's essentially a giant phone, and I personally find it perfect for basic documents, buying stuff, reading Ebooks and surfing the web.

The only reason I would get a laptop over the tablet is because it's easier to use Windows than Android, a lot of sites are crappy on mobile. But I love my tablet

I got an Asus tablet that was probably <$150 at the time. Mainly use it for ebooks and such, works just fine

Amazon Fire 8

Use it for kindle books
Kindle music
KOTOR
Comixology
Other digital comics
Amazon echo interface
Alexa

Have to manually add apps from googleplay though ie. Looking for the app file and installing it on my fire.

Thing i noticed that some apps take some time to load especially apps that need graphic intensive and processing power.
